Do you work in fashion and have an ambition to help shape the future of the industry?

Young Pioneers is our new mentoring programme designed to support and nurture the next generation of industry talent dedicated to driving change.

We have teamed 12 senior FashMash members with a select group of those at the beginning of their careers. The programme is intended to be inclusive for all, but is designed particularly to support ethnic minorities and those from low socio-economic backgrounds. It is directly in response to the Black Lives Matter movement as well as the wider ramifications of COVID-19, with a goal to actively provide opportunities for these less represented groups to succeed in the fashion industry.

By becoming a Young Pioneer, you gain access to a six-month programme that includes:

  • Monthly mentoring sessions from a senior FashMash member

  • Regular contact with FashMash co-founders for further support and opportunities

  • An intimate launch event hosted by FashMash co-founders

  • Whatsapp group with fellow recipients of Young Pioneers

  • Opportunity to arrange future meetups with the network of Young Pioneers

  • Invitation to the FashMash community’s biannual networking events

  • Complimentary tickets to all FashMash Pioneers speaker series

  • Programme of coaching sessions and talks focused on personal and professional development

Upon graduation from the programme, you will also be invited to become a full member of the FashMash community, gain access to the Young Pioneers alumni network and have the opportunity for a written recommendation.
